Bad Blogger, Bad Blogger…. I am. It’s been way too long since I have blogged, and I have so many weddings, engagements, and portraits to put on the blog. It’s been a crazy couple of months for our family and business. We sold our house and started building a house closer to our kids school. We have been living with Kammi’s parents until our house was suppose to be finished. Key word in that sentence is “suppose”. Short version of the story, is we got feed up with the builder and process that we ended up backing out of the house we were building. So we started the process of looking for a new house. We quickly found a new house that had just finished being built. It’s even closer to our kids school and we will be moving in there in mid July. Right in the middle of wedding season isn’t exactly our first choice, but that’s life and we are truly blessed to have a new home.
We also have a downtown studio near Coors Field. I don’t think I have announced that or shared any photos. In due time I guess. I will be blogging photos that I did for our neighbor which is a Bridal Gown Boutique called Emma & Grace. Such a perfect fit to have as a neighbor. Look out for that blog soon. Lot’s of great bridal gowns that we photographed for their website.
With my short life happenings out of the way, I am happy and excited to finally blog Katie & Craig’s wedding. We photographed Katie’s sister’s wedding about a year and a half ago at Lionscrest Manor. It’s was great seeing the whole family again and document another wedding for them. There is actually another sister that got married in between them. That’s three sisters weddings within 18 months. Crazy.
Katie & Craig had their ceremony and reception at the Denver Art Museum this past June. The happy couple opted to see each other before the wedding and get most of their portraits out of the way. The location in the heart of Denver and beautiful architecture is all around make for a beautiful wedding.
Congrats Katie & Craig! Thanks so much for letting us document your day.
